Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Services Covered
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related services offered through tqloshay. The services include professional training in media feeds, video operations, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and the creation of high-quality feeds for news and broadcasting. It covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to training materials. The policy governs transactions made by consumers and businesses located in the United Kingdom and is designed to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and UK GDPR requirements.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may arise for optional extras such as certification fees, extended access periods or premium support. These charges are clearly shown before payment is completed. Currency conversion fees applied by your card issuer are your responsibility and are not controlled by tqloshay. Prices may change from time to time but any increase will not affect orders already confirmed.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and approved digital wallets. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. Your card details are never stored on our servers. In the event of a payment failure you will be notified immediately and given the opportunity to retry with an alternative method.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed once you receive an order confirmation email following successful payment. This email contains details of the course, access instructions and a summary of your rights. Until this confirmation is sent no contract exists and you are not bound to complete the purchase. For subscription services the contract renews automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the terms below.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under UK law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of the confirmation email during which you may cancel without giving a reason. To exercise this right you must notify us in writing before the period expires. If you have already begun accessing digital course materials the cooling-off period ends once you start the content, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Cancellations after this period are subject to the refund eligibility rules described below.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for cancellations within the 14-day period provided no substantial course content has been accessed. Non-refundable items include completed certifications, downloaded materials and any promotional or discounted offers where the discount was conditional on non-refundable status. Services already delivered, such as live training sessions attended, are excluded from refund. We reserve the right to refuse refunds where abuse of the policy is evident.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund you should first contact us using the form on our Contacts page or by emailing info@streamscape.uk. Provide your order number, full name, the date of purchase and a brief reason for the request. You must also confirm whether any course materials have been accessed. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within two working days and guide you through any further information needed.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Upon receiving your request our team will review the details against the eligibility criteria within five working days. You will be notified by email of the decision. If approved, a refund will be processed. If rejected, we will explain the reasons clearly and offer any available alternatives such as course credit. You may appeal a rejection once by providing additional supporting information.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes between five and ten working days after approval, although bank transfer refunds may take up to fourteen days. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued. It is your responsibility to check your account statements for receipt of funds.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital course content is supplied immediately upon purchase, which means the 14-day cooling-off period ends as soon as access begins. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are only available for the unused portion within the initial cooling-off window. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms, which are stated at the point of purchase. No refunds are given for expired promotional access.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
In the case of failed payments you will be contacted to arrange an alternative method. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded automatically once confirmed. Chargebacks are treated as a last resort and may result in suspension of access pending investigation. Any suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may lead to permanent account termination without refund.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to receive services of satisfactory quality and the right to a refund for services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill. These rights cannot be excluded by contract. If you believe your statutory rights have been breached you may contact the Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards for further guidance.
Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law or business practices. The current version will always be available on our website with the last-updated date clearly shown. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
